Nose plum, mild spices with a touch of toast, mellow, full, rich and fruity. Lots of savours, cedar, resin, long. A seductive and stylish wine.

This wine has gone all out for supple tannins, elegance and freshness which is precisely what was needed this year. A moderate concentration (this is a compliment) for this intelligently vinified wine. 2008 to 2018

Balance and finesse and moderate concentration are what give this bottle its charm. The merlot picked before rain is predominant, making up 47% of the blend. The 40% of new wood used emphasis this new tendency : it is far from maximum concentration, more in style, favouring finesse and elegance.
