Small harvest due to a difficult flowering. Often green and acidic wines. A great success considering the vintage: fruity and full-bodied.

Good weather, sunny.

April: severe frost. May: rainy. June: lots of thunder storms. Mid point of flowering June 27.

July: cool, more storms. August: warm and sunny. Mid point of turning September 2nd

Good weather for the harvest, good level of maturity Harvest from October 6th to 19th

Serena Sutcliffe – Sotheby's Tasting notes – April 1995
"Very good for this mean, green vintage, but now drying."

Clive Coates - Grands Vins - 1995
"Good colour. More vigorous than the 1980. A little dry and herbaceous on the nose. Certainly not unpleasant, but beginning to dry out and lose what fruit it had."
