From
the beginning of the century, the famous jeweller Lalique dedicated
his talent to glass.
Table art was for the master glass artist and his descendants, a
priviliged field of creation.
Thus, in 1928, a Lalique glass collection entered the Palais de
l'Elysée. Today, although Lalique is very much a house of
tradition, the particularities of their style endow the collections
with great originality.
Three generations of the Lalique family are responsible for these
creations: René, Marc et Marie-Claude. The tasting glass,
created by Marie-Claude Lalique, is blown in transparent crystal
and is distinguished by the elegance and harmony of its curves,
the finesse of the rim and the purity of its line.
The hand formed transparent crystal stem is pure and slender. A
satined curled crystal pattern recalling the balusters and the gate
of the chateau subtely catch the light.
Designed to satisfy the requirements of the most demanding wine
lover, this is a glass that can present the bouquet of the fine
wine that is Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande,
while keeping the precious nectar intact with the additional pleasure
of drinking from a Lalique glass.
