A380 Inaugural flight
The association between Château Pichon Lalande and Singapore Airlines dates from 1987.
Several great vintages of Pichon were served to their First Class passengers during the 90’s.
In 2005 a five year contract was signed. As a sign of their appreciation and loyaulty towards our wine, the management of Singapore Airlines has decided to serve our prestigious 1982 vintage to their First Class passengers during the inaugural flight on October 25th 2007.
Singapore Airlines are the first company in the world to receive an A380. During the auction for seats for the first flight between Singapore and Sydney two seats in First Class were knocked down at
73,450 Euros.
The management of Château Pichon Lalande have been invited to celebrate the arrival of the first A380 at a Gala Dinner which was held at Changi Airport on October 17th in the presence of the Prime Minister, Mr. Lee Hsien Loong.
